Kate Monk is a certified 200+ hour yoga teacher and mother of two. Kate began practicing yoga in 2001, exploring many different styles ranging from Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Iyengar and Anusara. It was Anusara and its alignment principles that resonated with Kate as she worked through physical injuries and limitations. She quickly realized the emotional and spiritual benefits of yoga in addition to the physical ones and has been a dedicated student ever since. Having practiced yoga through both of her pregnancies, she is certain it benefited her in relatively smooth and natural childbirths. Through key principles of alignment, awareness, breathwork, strength and community, Kate hopes to assist and inspire moms to be through their pregnancy journey. Kate completed her 200 hour teacher training at Pure Yoga in New York City with Kay Kay Clivio and Yogi Charu and her prenatal and postnatal trainings with Mary Barnes, founder of Yoga For Two. Additionally, Kate has certifications in children's yoga from YogiBeans and Grounded Kids.
METRO-ATLANTA MISSED CLASS AND MAKE-UP POLICY
Oh Baby! Fitness has a very unique and generous missed class policy. If you miss a class, you will be allowed to make it up in any other comparable (pregnancy or mom & baby) class BEFORE your session ends. No credits will be given for classes you do not make-up during the current session. If you don't make up a missed class before the end of the session, you forfeit your credits. If you miss the last class in a session, you will not be allowed to make it up, so think ahead!
Single class registrants may not make-up missed classes. You MUST attend class on the date purchased.
